Huawei enters into agreement with United Arab Emirates for world’s largest energy storage of 1,300MWh

The Global Digital Energy Summit – 2021 was recently held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with the participation of about 67 countries. At the conference, Huawei Digital Energy Technology and Shandong Electric Power Construction (SEPCO3) entered into agreements for the Saudi Red Sea New City Energy Storage Project.

The project will have a capacity of 1300MWh and will be the largest energy storage project in the world.

Huawei Digital Energy Technology is a recent launch of the company with Hu Houkun, Vice President, Huawei, as its Legal Representative. The company is wholly owned by Huawei Technologies.
